lecture on social design for lipasmata park

COMM'ON, as partner of the Municipality of Keratsini - Drapetsona, was invited to present the methodological process for the public consultation in Lipasmata Park (2022) for "SYNTECHNON", a workshop co-implemented by the NTUA and ETH Zurich.

"SYNTECHNON Social Design as Social Design Strategy" was a social design workshop (May-June 2025), for for architecture students, focusing on reusing materials and engaging with local communities. The workshop was developed from the collaboration between the National Technical University of Athens and ETH Zurich's Department of Architecture and took place on line and on site in May-June 2025..

The aim of the workshop was to involve residents of Keratsini–Drapetsona in reimagining public spaces and developing proposals for 1:1 scale structures using reclaimed materials. 

COMM'ON, during the online sessions of the workshop, presented the process that lead to the public consultation for Lirasmata Park in 2021, the engagement process with the local community and the results formed after (2022-23).
