Our WeCoLead project closed the first phase of research in June 2022. The aim was to identify the trending topics on social media platforms discussing the intersection of gender issues, health, climate change, covid-19 in the past year.
Young womens voices are fundamental to understand how climatechange and the covid-19 pandemic have been causing unsustainable gendernarratives and increasing socioeconomic inequalities across Europe.
We present the key findings of our social media analysis of young women's experiences in Italy, Sweden, Greece, Hungary and Luxembourg, so far we have collected responses and inputs from 143 young women.
We found out that most respondents believe that the Covid-19 pandemic has had major negative consequences, especially in terms of mental health, social life and job opportunities.
